The Financial District is downtown’s business nerve center, however has quieted down nicely since many of the offices have not returned 5 day work weeks. What does that mean for your stay? Not-so-crowded walkways among the stately banks, high-rise offices and sleek restaurants. The apartment is a 2 minutes walk to Post Office Square, home to Norman B. Leventhal Park, which is a great spot for some sun and relaxation, sculptural fountain and garden trellises. Within a 10 minute walk is plenty lunch spots and high-end coffee shops. Fancy lounges and one of the best Irish pubs in America draw what's left of the after-work crowds. From May-October the city is vibrant and lively. In the slower seasons it's pretty quiet and calm save for weekends!
